Enterprise Gantt Chart vs. Gantt Chart

What is the difference between “Enterprise Gantt Chart†and the regular
“Gantt Chartâ€. I am using MSP 2003 with Project Server. My project is on
the server. When I update the project in MSP 2003, do I need to use the
Enterprise Gantt chart? Does it make a difference?

The Enterprise Gantt Chart is an enterprise View stored in the Enterprise
Global file. The Gantt Chart is a local View stored in each user's
Global.mpt file on their PC. In appearance, both Views are identical. Some
organizations, however, customize the Enterprise Gantt Chart to define a
standard View or the entire organization. When you work on your projects,
you will be just fine using the standard Gantt Chart view. Hope this helps.
