My installation procedure was to run the provided install.
I provided the SQL server and gave it SA user id and
password through the install wizard. It created a brand
new SQL server database on a separate box. The install
placed Project server on an internal windows 2000 machine
under IIS. The install was uneventful. Created everything
without any errors. Then the first thing I do is start up
Microsoft project 2002 professional on my desktop. I
connect to the server using administrator. Go to tools-
since it is brand new database fresh from the install
package. I have uninstalled and deleted the database and
retried the install. This resulted in the same issue.
There is nothing showing in the PWA under checked out
resources or project. In fact there are no projects
entered yet. My first task that I would like to do is add
my global resources. But I can not get to this because it
is complaining that the global options and resources (upon
saving) is already checked out. Thanks.
