Enterprise Global Replacement

We are wanting to replace our existing enterprise global with a new
enterprise global that will not have a lot of the enterprise custom fields
currently in use. What sort of behavior should we expect when users attempt
to open their project plans that have values in these enterprise custom
fields? Any information would definitely be appreciated - thank you.

You can expect the data in those fields to be lost.
Make sure you modify any tables, views, filters and groups which were based
on those custom fields as well.
