Enterprise Global Template copy

With EPM 2003, our development team would make changes to the Enterprise
Global Template on a development environment. To put this into Production,
we would use the MSP "Backup Enterprise Global" command to take a copy of
this to a local drive, re-connect to the Production server, and use "Restore
Enterprise Global" to upload it. This approach avoids having to make a
series of small changes in 2 environments.

We can't find equivalent functionality in 2007. Can anyone advise how this
can be done?

In a few weeks, maybe a month or two, Microsoft will release a Project
Server Resource Kit. A tool to perform the equivalent of an EGT copy
is supposed to be included in that. I don't know any details of this
other than what
I just wrote.

An avenue you might explore is to restore your development Archive
database over the production Archive database, and then restore any of
the configured items.
