I was told in another thread to open the Enterprise global template from the
tools menu in project pro. Its greyed out. All i can do is Restore
enterprise global template. We just installed project server and i dont know
much about it yet. What should i do to allow my projects to be published to
the server? How can i get access to this enterprise global template? or
create a new one? I havn't done anything to this except install, so any
ideas are welcome as i have no problem re-installing it all over again if
necessary!

thanks,
mcm

No, you didn't miss out anything. What you need to do is create a connection
to the project server from project professional. I hope you still remember
your administrator password.

You'll need to go to Start - Programs - Microsoft Office - Microsoft Office
Tools - Project Server Accounts

Click on Add. Account name can be anything, it's just to help you identify
the connection. Key in the url, http://[servername]/projectserver and
obviously the username. Doesn't matter if it's default or not. Click on OK.

Set the connection state to manually. Click OK. And now launch Project
Professional 2003. You should get an additional pop up window. Choose the
account which you just created and click on Connect. That should get you
started!

Hope that helps!
