Enterprise Global Views and Tables

I read some very useful information in a previous post from in which Dale
Howard gave some very beneficial information that seems to apply to a problem
I am currently having. We have 2007 loaded in a development environment for
testing before implementation. We were running into a problem yesterday with
modifiying the Gantt View. I searched and found the information I
copy/pasted below. My question is that when these instructions refer to any
'non-enterprise' views or tables, how do I determine what those are? Are
they any views and tables that do not have 'Enterprise' as a prefix?

I found the Gantt Chart view as well as the Entry table on the right when I
followed these instructions. Additional information will be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Ruth Halbach

copied from previous post...
The Gantt Chart view is a local view that is included by default in the
Global.mpt file of every Microsoft Project user. The Enterprise Gantt Chart
view is an enterprise view that exists only in the Enterprise Global file.
The Gantt Chart view should not be present in the Enterprise Global file.
If it is, delete it and any other local views using the steps detailed in
the following link:

The only enterprise View that ships with Project Server 2007 is the
Enterprise Gantt Chart view. The only enterprise Table that ships with
Project Server 2007 is the task Enterprise Entry table. Any other Views or
Tables in the Enterprise Global file must be custom enterprise Views or
Tables that your Project Server creates. All other Views, such as the Gantt
Chart, and all other Tables, such as the Entry table, are non-enterprise
objects and should be removed from the Enterprise Global file, as their
presence will trigger a warning message each time a PM opens a project from
the Project Server database. Therefore, the message you cite below is still
correct, even in Project Server 2007. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale, it helped considerably. As we muddle our way through this it
seems I have more & more questions. This is a great resource. Thanks so
much for your participation!
