Enterprise Not Enabled

Help:

The project server has been installed and I am able to link between Client
Project and the Project Server. I know this by testing the
connection and viewing Projects from the server on Project desktop.

Client Project is 2003 Professional SR3

Issue: Specific features are not enabled:
Tools
Enterprise Options
Import Projects to Enterprise (there are five options that are not enabled on Project Desktop, Import is only one of them)

The two options that are enabled are:
MS Office Project Server Accounts
Restore Enterprise Global

I need to import projects that are Enterprise in nature to the Server
and do not have this feature enabled.

Don,

I looks like you have not connected to the server when you started the client.
If in MS Office Project Server Accounts your local account is set to default
and the "Automatically detect connection state" option is selected, you will
always start "locally" without further notification and all enterprise
options will be disabled.

So check this: Which entry is set to default? Is it your server account?
And secondly: Is the connection state set to "Manually control connection
state" ?
The latter will open the Server Accounts dialogue each time you start the
client so that you can chose if you want to connect to the server.

Hope this helps

Burghard

Sorry, I probably haven't read thoroughly enough.
If you can view projects from the server, can you save them as well?
It might have to do with your security group then. What are your settings
there?
