Enterprise Numbers Codes

Hello, we are running Professional and Server 2003. We are using Enterprise
Outline Code 1, renamed Task Number, for the team members to reference in
timesheets. The problem is that the numbers are summed in the summary tasks.
Is there a way to turn the summing function off? Or do we have to use a Text
Code and republish all of the projects. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Open the Enterprisec Global Template and select Tools, Customise, Enterprise
Fields.

In the Customise Enterprise Fields dialogue box, set the radio button
beneath "Calculation for task and group summary rows" to None.

This should fix it.

Geoff, thanks for the reply, I need clarification. I checked the global
template and I already the "none" radial button selected. Do I need to
republish or take any further actions?

If you don't want the numbers totalled on each user's Timesheet page in PWA,
then you should consider using a custom enterprise task Text field instead.

Yes, you always need to republish the project to push any changes through to
PWA.
