Enterprise Project Server Accounts

Kevin W Flanagan

When you set up in Project Pro your account to connect to Project Server,
what is happening behind the scenes? Our CITRIX administrator is trying to
find out how to get around the lock-down on the local client that is not
allowing an account to be set up on CITRIX.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

When you create a Project Server account it also creates the following
registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\MS Project\Profiles
\<ProjectServerAccountName>

If you look inside the <ProjectServerAccountName> Key you will see the
GUID string value that Gary is referring to

Hope this helps...
