Enterprise Resource Costs

I have entered in rates for each employee in our enterprise resource pool.
If there is an employee that has a different rate for THIS project only, how
do I reflect that in Project Pro and Server?

I seem to keep getting the "changes will be lost, but you can make the
change for modeling purposes only.." error. Must I change that in the
global resource pool, or can I change that rate for THIS project only?
Would someone advise?

Rates must be established for a resource in the resource pool and not the
local project. You can apply them in the local project, however.
