enterprise resource pool - Changing rates mid schedule

When rates change mid scehdule and I update the Enterpris Resource Pool it
adjust the rates on the entire schedule. I would like it to only update the
rates in the schedule from the date I made the rate change and forward. Is
this possible?

Answered my own question? Set the effective date in the resource
information view.

Yes, you are correct. To change the Standard Rate so that you preserve the
original Cost history for each resource, complete these steps:

1. Open the Enterprise Resource Pool for editing
2. Double-click the name of a resource
3. Click the Costs tab
4. On Cost Rate Table A, enter an effective date on the second line of the
data grid and then enter the new increased rate
5. Click the OK button
6. Repeat steps #2-5 for every resource whose Cost rate changes
7. Save and close the pool

Following the above process will change the Costs for all dates following
the effective date, but will preserve the original Cost history in each
project. Hope this helps.
