Enterprise Text Field

1. Where in the ERD for the project server database will i find the
enterprise text fields stored for a given task in a given project?

2. MORE IMPORTANTLY, what is the underlying data type and size in
characters? Is there a way to change it? What we want to do is store a
longer, more detailed description of a task in the task line but it appears
that no matter which field we select we are limited to 256 characters. We
wanted to avoid attaching a document as we seldom go over about 1000-2000
characters.

My question would be why you would allow a longer project description in the
first place? 256 characters is more than enough for a high=-level
description. Link to the document if a longer version is wanted, but should
not be needed in the custom fields.
