We setup about 15 enterprise text fields in our enterprise global when we
implemented PS 2003. We gave all these fields custom names and these show up
both in Project and Project Server views just fine. Later, we stopped using
Enterprise Text Field6 and Field9 and removed their custom names and these
reverted to their default names in views. We removed them from the views they
were used in.
Now, I want to use these two fields for new uses and renamed them to the
new, desired names. When building views in PWA, their custom names display
in the dialog boxes but when the views display for users, their default names
(Enterprise Text Field6 for example) are shown in the view column headings.
We can't get the custom names in the headings. I have even tried using two
fields we've never used before and these don't show the new, custom field
names. Are we forgetting a step in setting these up?
Thanks,
Walter
