I hope someone can help... When working in large (or even small) documents,
my entire document takes on the formatting I attempt to apply to a small,
selected area of text. For example, I might want to bold and italicize the
title of a page, but instead of just the title becoming bold when I click the
"B" button (or press CTRL+B), the entire document turns bold. The same goes
for using bullets, numbered lists, or any other formatting. I can undo the
action, which leaves only my selected text properly formatted, but this adds
TONS onto the file size - not to mention that it is an unacceptable solution
that adds time and steps.
I've read that others have had this problem, and yet I never seem to hear of
any solutions or possible causes. Does anyone know why this happens?? Please
let me know. Thanks so much!
