Dr Q
Hi,
I am using a 1 GB flash drive to store my Identity folder so I can have
a single mail folder across my Macs at home and work. (If you want to
know how it's done see the link below to my post on that subject). The
setup works as expected with one minor nuisance. After I quit
Entourage, the Mac OS won't eject the flash drive because it thinks the
drive is still in use. The OS suggests quitting all applications. I
have determined this happens only after I open and quit Entourage 2004.
So I suspect that there is some residual process that is still open
related to Entourage.
Would anyone have insight on how to get Entourage to quit completely?
(Note: I can logout and login to clear the hold but at least on my home
computer I don't want to have to do that.)
Here is the link to my previous post on how to use a flash drive to
hold the mail identity:

Thank you for your assistance.
