Entourage 08 Freezes Up Immediately upon Opening

Looks like it might be getting hung up on the imap email account of mine. It starts to open and you can see the process bar at the bottom working until the software starts to search for emails from the imap account then it freezes (has been working fine with this account until just yesterday). I went online and deleted all the emails in that gmail account but the software still is freezing up. Unfortunately it opens at that account and I have no time before it freezes to delete the account within the software so I'm stuck. I have alot of emails in folders that I need tomorrow for a business deadline -- HELP!

Hold down Shift key when launching Entourage. This disables schedules and
allows Entourage to launch without crashing in situations like this.

For IMAP, Exchange or Hotmail just check your Inbox and folders affected
with Preview Pane turned off.
