Hi

I´m using entourage 08 with exchange as well as a blackberry.

If I now setup a full day meeting on the 20th it will show up in entourage on the 19th. This only happens with full day events.

Any idea why???

Hi

If I now setup a full day meeting on the 20th it will show up in
entourage on the 19th. This only happens with full day events.

If you view your calendar using Outlook Web Access (OWA) what date do
you see there? Entourage should reflect that date.

If the date is wrong on in OWA as well then this is more likely a server
problem.

Full day events are known to be problematic between Exchange, Entourage,
Outlook and other devices. Check your calendar from Outlook as well and
see if you still see a discrepancy. This could be as simple as either
your system or Entourage using the wrong time zone. It could be a
problem with your server. Make sure it is fully patched or at least
patched to Exchange Server 2003 sp2.

Hope this helps!

Hi William

Thanks for the reply.

It is hosted exchange server from intermedia. As far as I know they run exchange 2007 so it shouldn´t be a server problem. I think that it is more a bug in entourage with full day events.

I also checked the OWA access and it is the right date.

Any more ideas how to fix this?? ;)

Is the time zone shown in OWA (Options --> Date and Time Formats) the
same as the time zone selected for default events in Entourage
(Entourage --> Preferences... --> General Preferences --> Calendar)?

These should both be your current time zone.

Hi William,

So i doubl checked again. If I put a full day event via OWA it shows up the correct day. If I do a full day event via Blackberry. it shows up one day prior ??

Strange thing. Also the BB Server is a hosted one with Intermedia...
The timezone on the BB is the same on Entourage and OWA.

I've experienced the same problem with all-day events and I'm not using a
Blackberry. I use both Exchange on Windows as well as Entourage on the Mac.
My timezone on the Mac (GMT+8) matches that on OWA, though the Exchange
server is on a different timezone (GMT-7).

As a workaround I'm not entering any new events via Exchange, but I sense
that will be untenable in the long run if I want to sync with my mobile later
on..

This is an Exchange issue. See this article for details. It also applies to
Exchange 2007 although the article talks about 2003.
