Entourage 10.1.1 conversion to Entourage 12.2.0

I have been using Entourage 10.1.1 on my old Mac iBook G4 for 5 years, I've now purchased a new MacBook Pro and have the latest version of Entourage and I want to know how to transfer all my folders and emails from my Inbox and Sent Box over. (I've transferred all my other documents from other applications over successfully by copying to an external hard drive). I was able to export my old Entourage contacts, but it doesn't give me any other options to export anything else. Any ideas anyone?

You wont' be able to transfer from Entourage X to Entourage 2008. You
can, however, copy your current Microsoft User Data folder from your old
machine to your new one (put it in the same location) and then use File
--> Import... in Entourage to bring in your data.

Entourage 2008 does not import well from Entourage X. I suggest that you
export your data on the old iBook then move that data over to the new
MacBook and import it into Entourage 2008.

You don't need to move the entire Microsoft User Data folder over, just your
Office X Identities folder. You can try importing since it will give you
more info, but just in case you can have your exported files as backup.

Place the Office X Identities folder in the Microsoft User Data folder.
Entourage 2008 will create a new Office 2008 Identities folder. Once you are
satisfied with the import you can delete the old Office X Identities folder.

One other alternative is using Apple Mail as an intermediary. It imports
Entourage X with no problems. Once you get it in Mail, then Entourage 2008
can import.
