I went through four transfers to Entourage support yesterday and two
transfers to Office support in Microsoft. Wouldn't you think Entourage
would have some knowledge about its inner-workings with Exchange
Servers? Nope.
Our receptionist (secretary) is set up as a delegate for the director
of communications (boss) with access to email, calendar and address
book. Boss' computer has all the correct permissions to allow the
secretary to read, write and modify listings in his address book on the
Exchange Server. Secretary can create new addresses and boss can see
them fine in his Exchange Address book. However, secretary cannot edit
listings in the exchange address book even though she has the correct
permissions. She cannot edit listings she created over the past few
days. However, secretary can create a new address listing in her local
contacts on 'my computer' and then drag and drop it into boss's
exchange address book. This locally created listing is able to be
edited and deleted in the boss's exchange server address book.
The secretary needs to be able to edit already existing address
listings in the boss's exchange server-based address book.
This problem is not fixed with a new ID. Tried that. It's not fixed
with a reinstall of 11.2. Tried that. Permissions are verified and
fixed on both computers.
