Entourage 12.01 crashes consistently on adding 2nd attacment

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

Creating a simple message, adding one attachment (any type of document), then adding a second document. Entourage will crash. It happens on all three of my Macs (iMac G5, Mac mini, Powerbook 12" G4). I removed office 12.01 and reinstalled 12.00 and then updated again: same problem. Now I have definitively removerd 12.01. Hoping for a quick fix!!!
