Entourage 12.1.4 Invite Error

I experienced the bug in Entourage 12.1.3 that prevented meeting invites from being sent. I am still having problems sending invites in 12.1.4.

The symptom is slightly different. This is the error message I now get is:

"Error
HTTP error. There is a resource conflict.

Explanation
Mail could not be sent. The message has been moved to your Drafts folder.

Account name: "My Account"

Error: -18591"

Sure enough, the invite is moved to the Drafts folder. If I go to the Drafts folder and try to send the message again, I get the error again and a new copy of the invite is created. Occasionally, the invite does get sent. I don't have any clue why it occasionally gets sent.

In the Mactopia blog entry describing the 12.1.4 fix, item #2 seems to describe this symptom but does not describe the actual cause or a fix:

Has anyone else seen this error after updating to 12.1.4? Any idea of the cause or fix?

Work fine for me and I just upgraded to 12.1.4, I did not try sending any
while at 12.1.3 though

Is this an old invite that did not send? If yes, delete and enter again
under 12.1.4.

No, these are new invites created from scratch. It happens on more than one account.

I should point out that this is using Kerio Mailserver although I have no evidence that this is caused by the mail server.

I have not had an issue like this before 12.1.3.

I'm not an Exchange expert, but until one chimes in, try creating a new
Identity for one of the accounts and see if it sends OK.

I did get this back from a contact at MacBU:

We changed the at invites are sent. My guess is that Kerio does not
support the new way. Kerio will have to fix the bug because they are
not a supported server for Entourage.

Kerio is aware of the issue and says that they will have a fix in the next rev of their server.

The patch released today by Kerio, 6.6.0 patch 1, appears to fix the problem with Entourage 12.1.4 when sending a meeting invite.
