Entourage 2004 and Keyboard Viewer

Living in Canada as I do, I have frequent need to switch to the
Canadian French input method. I usually open the Keyboard Viewer to
help me remember where all the accents are. This works great in every
application except Microsoft Office, most importantly in Entourage
where I have the most need. Everytime I switch to Entourage, the
Keyboard Viewer reverts to US English. Grrrr!

Any suggestions?

PS: Using 10.4.8 on MacBook Pro (Intel-based).
