Entourage 2004 calendar items get deleted & can't sync with iCal

For ~3 weeks, my calendar is being crazy. I create a new calendar item and it creates fine. Within a few moments the item then deletes. Huge problem! Anyone know what's going on? Also in this same timeframe, I can no longer sync Entourage with iCal (and then to my iPhone). Entourage is set to sync Contacts & Calendar but just not working. I've turned this feature off and on a few times but still no luck.

I see... This has to be a follow-up on your previous post.

First, make sure both Office 2004 and MacOS X are *perfectly* up to date
as there has been corrections in this regard on both ends. Then, in the
Entourage preferences, make sure, SyncServices are off.
Rebuild your identity (launch Entourage pressing the Option key down)
and hopefully events will stop disappearing.

Now you can try re-enabling SyncServices and see where this takes you,
