I'm having a strange problem with times being off in the Calendar
portion of Entourage 2004.
This is the issue:
Client: Entourage 2004: in New Jersey
Exchange 2003 / SP2 in Des Moines, IA
First, even though my preferences and clock are set to reflect Eastern
Standard Time, the meeting planner thinks I'm in the central time zone.
If I plan a meeting with someone, and click into the time I want the
meeting, it's fine.
If someone from the Eastern Time Zone invites me to a meeting at 2 pm
to 3:30 pm EST, the text message says the meeting is at 1 pm to 2:30
pm, and there is a message at the top that says "event and computer
time zones do not match. In calendar views, the event time is adjusted
to display correctly. The calendar view displays correctly. I've
attached screen captures that illustrate this; see 1/26 2-3:30 re:
vendor meeting calendar view, then if I click on it the message view
shows a different time.
I have screen shots if needed.
Thanks,
Rick
