Hello,
We seem to be getting an intermittent system freeze (kernel panic?)
when using Entourage 2004 connected to Exchange running on SBS2003.
Looking at the log at /var/log/windowsserver.log, the following
message seems to occur before the system crashes:
kCGErrorFailure: CGXDisableUpdate: UI updates were forcibly disabled
by application "SystemUIServer" for over 1 second. Server has
re-enabled them.
The Apple Mac runs:
Darwin 7.4.0 Darwin Kernel Version 7.4.0: Wed May 12 16:58:24 PDT
2004; root:xnu/xnu-517.7.7.obj~7/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc
This is a major problem as this version of Entourage is the only one
that we have had any sucess connecting to our Exchange Server with.
The system runs a 450mhz processor, but was previously running a
1.25ghz processor from GigaDesigns - the G-Cellerator. Entourage
crashed while this upgrade chip was in the machine and the chip never
worked again - it has been sent back to the manufacturer for testing.
Thanks for the help,
Tom Jermy
