Entourage 2004 data

I use Entourage 2004 for Mac on my MacBook Pro 10.5.7 -- because it still has a conduit for my Palm. A couple weeks ago, Nearly all of my history went bye-bye for no reason that I can figure out. I understand that the data is stored in the "Microsoft User Data" folder in the documents folder. I use Time Machine to back things up, so I have gone several generations back to drag over the data file, however this has made no difference.

What can I do? I need that data! Help!

Is it all data or just contacts? What size is your database? What happened
when your restored from Time Machine? Did you save the last Identity that
you were using? We need more details.

Using Time Machine to backup Entourage basics:

It's advised by the developers not to let Time Machine backup your Entourage
database. If the database is copied while being used, the backup could be
corrupt. You can set the Time Machine to exclude the Microsoft User Data
folder and create an iCal event to copy it over at night while not in use so
you get one backup daily in Time Machine.

Thanks for your note. I do not do the Time Machine daily, but only when I think it's time to back things up. Actually, I rebooted my computer after dragging the data file from Time Machine back into the Microsoft User Data folder. When I opened Entourage, my lost data was there. Thanks for your help.
