Entourage 2004 & MIME Conversion

In trying to subscribe to the Entourage-Talk mailing list, I got this
message as a reply:
This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not

It¹s almost as if Entourage is deliberately converting some HTML messages to
plain-text ­ possibly for security reasons?

That's not Entourage. That's the mailing list server's auto-responder (not
the mailing list itself). I wouldn't worry about it. It's nothing to do with
Entourage.
