Entourage 2004 Performance Problems

Hi.

Do others stuggle with similar problems in Entourage?

- Typing a regular email will sometimes lag behind nearly 10 seconds
- Switching between mail and address book windows is very slow
- Renaming folders can experience lags and delays

I have rebuilt my database
I have removed thousands of old mail
I am running the latest version (11.1.0) of the application.
I am running the latest version of Mac OS (10.3.8)
I am not experiencing any other application problems to my knowledge.

No, it is not connecting to Outlook. However, we do connect to an SMTP
mail server. No shared calendaring or address books or anything though.


And the problem exists when not connecting to a server.
