Entourage 2004 - Signature Placement?

What preference controls placement of signature? On one of my accounts, when
I reply, the signature gets placed at the end of the entire message, not
just my reply. That is the most annoying behavior of Entourage since I
started using it. On my other accounts, the signature appears where I want
it (at the end of my message).

You¹ll need to change the preference for Mail Attribution to change the
position of the signature.

Terminator, you might also be interested in using some (free) scripts
written by Paul Berkowitz as suggested in an earlier post by Barry
Wainwright from Tuesday, 19 October with the subject "Re: SIGNATURE POSITION
IN REPLY EMAILS". These give you more control over placement of the
signature as well as placement of the cursor. I'll repeat the pertinent
part of that post here:
