Entourage 2004 w/ Network Home Folders

Does ANYBODY have Entourage 2004 w/ SP2 (11.2.1) working correctly with
network homes on OS X Panther/Tiger? We have implemented it and the
Database is constantly just at random deciding its corrupted or the
database deamon will crash when attempting to read public folder
messages by clicking the "Get Entire Message" within the Email. I have
heard others say MS told them they dont support network homes which I
think is extremely lame and is a HUGE flaw in Office 2004 and makes it
completely useless in the enterprise if it cant use network homes.

What's a network home? Is this the same or different from a home network?
Since you're referring to public folders, it sounds as if you must have an
Exchange Server set up somewhere?

Network Home refers to Mac OS X's ability to mount a users Home folder
over the network. Its full blown network home's not just having a users
home folder on the local drive for example, /Users/jsmith, then
mounting a sharepoint that users copy files to and from. Ours is
actually storing the entire user folder on a AFP share. This allows our
users to roam from machine to machine and thier settings roam just as
Windows roaming profiles do.

We have Exchange 2003 Server w/ SP2 deployed.

I'm not using a network home, byt my user folder is relocated through
thye NetInfo Database on a different partition. It should be "somehow"
similar in most respect. The main difference in your case is that you're
accessing the files over AFS. Since I don't have problems and you do, I
suspect a problem with AFS...
