I am the new boy on this block returning to the mac after 5 years

Entourage can read imap mail from aol.com
but sending seems to fail


I have used MS OE on WinXp for years so can find the correct settings
for ssl and port numbers and smtp on my old machine

how do I edit those for the same account om my new powerBook ?

so I will try that next as soon as this stage of la Tour de France

is over
I am at my pc in the room with the tv
the mac is in the next room on a local net

so I can see that link on google groups next

That is a deprecated newsgroup, with almost no activity.

Please use this group (m.p.m.o), or better still, the correct entourage
group (microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage) for all posts.

No, it will continue to exist as long as news servers continue carrying it.
