Entourage 2008 12.1 Sync Services: Still Not Fixed

Sync Services is still crashing regularly even about applying the 12.1
update. Last night alone, it crashed 7 times.

Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Not for me. And I haven't seen contact or even duplication since I
installed it.

Well not only is it crashing, over the weekend it erased my contacts in
Address Book, and doesn¹t fully sync my Calendar with iCal. (For example, I
have a meeting today on my Entourage calendar that doesn¹t show up in iCal.

What is going on here?

There is probably something really really wrong on your Mac. I would
start by turning syncing off.
You might want to consider also trashing the iCal Entourage calendar to
let Entourage re-create a fresh new one.
Try re-enabling the sync after that.

Anything interesting the in crash logs??

The first thing you need to do is make sure all of your data is backed up.
Especially make a backup of your Identity folder.

The problems you are describing are not typical. You need to do some
troubleshooting.

Testing in a new User will quickly tell you if the problem is system wide or
if it's your User's folder that contains the problem.

Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the
New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Test Entourage
there. You will have to enter your Account info. Be sure to set to "leave
on server" for the test.

To test your database in the new user, drag it to Shared folder. In the new
User, drag from Shared (it actually copies) to the Documents folder -->
Microsoft User Data folder.
