Entourage 2008 adds incorrect calendar birthdate from address book

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop I am adding birthdate reminders to the Entourage calendar by clicking on the calendar icon next to the birthdate in address book. It creates the event, but always enters the completely wrong day, date, year. Doesn't matter whether its someone born before or after 1950 (see http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2008...ge_2008_causes_birthday_information_loss.html).

My setting for the medium date format is the 4 digit year.

Any ideas what's happening and how to fix?

I've had that. I believe it has been fixed in an update. Are you fully
up to date?? (use the auto-updater from the Help menu)

I'm fully up to date, v.12.2.3 and have it set to auto-update. Also, my iMac is on 10.5.8.

Well you can always try rebuilding your identity (press Option while
launching Entourage), but I'm not really sure what causes your problem
then,
