Entourage 2008 and Exchange

I have one Entourage 2008 user for whom it is so slow that he has gone back
to using 2004. Basically, whenever he tries to do anything, like creating a
new email message for example, he get the spinning rainbow wheel. He is
connecting to an Exchange server using OWA. He has a lot of items that are
synched from the server, but I have other users with lots of items and it
has not been an issue. I have created a new identity and gotten it all
synched with the server, but that didn't seem to help. Anyone else seeing
anything like this?

Hi John!

Is this user inside your company network along with your Exchange
Server? Then point him to the back-end Exchange Server where his account
lies rather than the OWA server. He'll be going through fewer servers
and firewalls that way.

Also, have a look at my comments I posted a few months ago for
additional ideas:

Hope this helps!

I have tried creating a new identity and re-synching with the Exchange
server, and I have tried switching to the internal server name rather than
the OWA address, but still Entourage 2008 is unacceptably slow for this
user. He has switched back to 2004. Anyone have any additional suggestions
on this?
