Entourage 2008 and Notes

Hi Group!

I read somewhere (I think it was a MS guide or PDF) that Entourage 2008 when
connected to Exchange, now has the ability to sync Notes, Tasks and
Categories. I can't seem to figure out how to do this. We use Mac's, PC's,
as well as BlackBerrys within our enterprise. When we create a Note, for
example, on a BB or in Outlook on a PC, Notes sync. But nothing shows up in
Entourage. When we create a Note in Entourage, we see nothing elsewhere.
Thoughts?

Hi Marc,

first of all, the current version of Entourage 2008 does not support these
features; you will need Entourage EWS for this, which is currently in beta.
You will have to wait for it to come out of beta before you can install or
use it.

Once you've done that, categories, notes and tasks can indeed be synched to
Exchange, though I believe it will only work with the very latest,
up-to-date Exchange 2007 server. I don't believe that these notes and
categories will show up in Outlook, either, as this type of (meta-) data is
for Entourage only. I don't have an Exchange account, so I can't be
completely sure about these statements; users on the Entourage EWS beta
programme, feel free to correct any wrong statements I may have made.
