Attachments & Calender:
a) Is it possible to attach documents to an scheduled appointment only if you formulate a meeting invitation?
b) When I send a meeting invitation and attach documents to it, I myself cannot "see" them in my copy of the sent appointment.

Not directly within the event, but you can use the Links menu button to
link to a file on your computer after you've saved your event.

b) When I send a meeting invitation and attach documents to it, I
myself cannot "see" them in my copy of the sent appointment.

This is Entourage's behavior.

Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this feature in
future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any
Office application.
