My Mac gave me a message stating that damage had been detected in Entourage
2008. It scanned for the problem and reported "MLRC:1" by way of database
utility.log.
The problem: the archived emails that are contained in some of the folders
on the lefthand panel in Entourage have become invisible, chronologically
equivalent to around two weeks ago onwards, whereas earlier saved emails are
still visible. The folders themselves appear normal. This problem started
last night. If I click on the blank spaces where the invisible recently
saved and sent emails should normally appear they become visible again, but
the large right panel for viewing email contents nonetheless remains blank.
If I double click on any of the icons for these disappearing/reappearing
emails I get a new separate screen displaying the full contents of the email
as usual. Also, I can compose a new email, but the control panel buttons
along the top of the screen are grayed out, so it is impossible to send
emails. The control panel buttons on the top of address book are grayed out
too, so I can't add new addresses except by clover-N shortcut. What can I do
to get it working again?
