Entourage 2008 -- End of File error

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I am getting an "The end of file was reached." error. A have rebuilt my database and moved deleted the microsoft foler in my preferences folder as those are two suggestions I have seen. Neither works for me. I am unable to receive or send e-mail.

I am able to send and receive using Apple's mail application so it is not an account, internet or exchange issue.

The file that has reached it's end is often the preferences file. Move the
'Microsoft' folder out of your local preferences folder and try again. If
this fails, end of file means the file is too corrupted to rebuild.

For Exchange you simply need to create a new Identity rather than trying to
rebuild.

Thanks for your note. As I noted in my original message, I have already done the preference move thing. What file is corrupted?

Are you saying I need to create a new identity and import my old e-mails?
