Entourage 2008 Exchange - can send but not receive email

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

This just started today after installing updates last night. I can send messages but not receive new ones in my inbox. I know that I have new messages because I checked my Exchange account via the web.

Help, please!

Is the account properly set as Exchange or as POP or IMAP??

This morning I emptied my Inbox folder cache in Entourage. Then Entourage automatically downloaded all of the Inbox items from my Microsoft Exchange account again, and now the problem seems to be fixed! I guess my Inbox folder somehow got corrupted.

Here's hoping it stays fixed!
