I have identified what appears to be a bug with the HTML parsing in
Entourage 2008, and it seems to have started with the 12.1 update. I have a
client who receives daily emails with links to documents on a website, and
Entourage 2008 is removing part of each document link when it parses the
HTML. Specifically, it is removing "&caseid" from each URL, even though it's
there in the source if you look at it. These emails are fine is pre-12.1
Entourage 2008, as well as Entourage 2004, Apple Mail, and Outlook. Does
anyone have any suggestion for making this work? Hopefully this will be
fixed in the next update, but for now I fear that I will have to go to
another email client for these messages.
Also, while we're on the topic of Entourage and HTML, why does Entourage do
such a crappy job with displaying HTML? For example, these messages have a
document number with an underlying link, but Entourage insists on showing
the complete URL after the document number, instead of showing it as a link.
Anyway, sorry for the rant, but any suggestions are appreciated.
