Entourage 2008 - LDAP Server Error

Hi We are running Entourage 2008 on an Imac OSX 10.5.6 which h is also
connected to an Exchange Server. Occasionally I am getting a LDAP server
Error -50 when I try and start a new email.

I cant seem to find anything about this - can anyone advise me what is
happening and how to fix?

That sounds more like a Mac OS X system error. According to this page
<http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1618> it means "Error in user parameter
list" whatever that means.

See what happens if you use Entourage --> Switch Identity... and start a
brand new identity. You'll need to set up your Exchange account again
but this will test whether or not the problem is with your current
identity (maybe some mild corruption) or is coming from someplace else.
