Entourage 2008 slow over VPN/Kerberos

I have found entourage 2008 to be very slow when I use it over an IPSEC VPN and authenticate with kerberos.

I chose to do this so I could use ldap server to look up addresses, but it is much slower on many operations, especially when trying to fill out addresses.

Perhaps it's the fact that I am double encrypted (ipsec and ssl), but the pinwheel of death is killing me!

I went back to using the webdav externally with password auth, and everything speeds back up. i can live with it, but it would be nice to have the ldap lookup.

Hi Brett!

You can have GAL lookups outside of your company network. You just can't
have *browse*.
