Using Entourage 2008 12.2.1 and OS X 10.6, when I click on a link in a
new mail notification alert, most of the time it opens a window on my
second monitor with only a toolbar and no rest of the message window.
Since I do this regularly it is quite annoying.
This doesn't happen all of the time. Seems like such alert clicks
sometimes opens the window on primary monitor and then this seems not
to happen in that case.
I tried to report this to Microsoft by phone (see this link):
http://weblog.timaltman.com/archive/2006/03/22/reporting-bugs-microsoft
But I got someone who despite repeated attempts to explain barely spoke
English (not meaning to be racist, just a fact), had no knowledge of
Entourage, and couldn't repeat back what I said despite explaining it
2-3 times.
I also tried registering at the Mactopia Entourage forums:
http://www.officeformac.com/ms/ProductForums/Entourage
But despite trying at least 10 times, I could not get it to accept the
CAPTCHA. Must be (yet another) bug in their forum registration because
I'm sure I entered it right each time (tried caps, lowers, with &
without spaces).
So here's my official bug report for what it's worth.
