Entourage 2008 stopped seeing unread mail on Exchange server

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

One of our company's Mac users stopped getting mail from the Exchange 2003 server. She connects to the server fine, but when the client syncs, it seems to take no time at all, and no mails show up in her inbox. If she goes to Outlook Web Access, she can see several unread emails that date back to when the problem first started (two days back.)

I have rebuilt the database to no avail.

There are no error log entries for Entourage in the System logs or any other logs.

The Entourage client was updated to the 12,1,3 Office update. Problem still persists. No other users appear to be affected.

Has anyone else seen this? Any suggestions?

If you see this in just one or a handful of folders then right-click or
Control-click that folder, select Folder Properties and click the Empty
button to empty the cache. You can also select the account itself and
empty the cache for all of your folders.

Hope this helps!
