I get continuous sync errors with an error -18500
Any calendar items I create in Entourage do not appear in Exchange
Any changes to existing mails (deletes) do not sync.
However I can send and receive mail and I can see Calendar entries created
with the OWA and outlook in exchange.
I tried to use the Microsoft support but was told Client server support is
only paid support so now I have thrown away my free support should I need it
(the clock starts ticking from the fist question, even if they don't
answer).
Nobody knows what this error is it seems. So I would say to anybody
considering using a Mac with an exchange server wait until a product not
written by Microsoft is available. Entourage is not worth the pain or money
for a sub-standard piece of unsupported software. I mean no disrespect to
the MVP who are trying hard but this product should be support by the vendor
not Usergroups.
Having had a rant I feel better and hope somebody somewhere has a solution?
I have all the latest updates from both OSX and MS but no change. For the
time being I will turn off Entourage and return to the Maill.app with IMAP
and sync my calendar through my phone, this is reliable but not suitable
for non-technical people.
