Entourage 2008 Truncates URL Strings

I am having an issue with Microsoft Entourage 2008 reading the
IronMail spam filter
end-user quarantine messages. The URL quarantine links are getting
truncated and thus
are unreadable. We are running Entourage 2008 12.1.1 on Mac OS X
10.5.4 (Leopard). Our Email server is Exchange 2007.

I have examples of the broken URLs I can show you. I can reproduce
the issue 100% of the time. The URL link is a fairly long URL and it
is ALWAYS truncated at a specific ampersand (&) character. I assume
that Entourge 2008 is processing the HTML incorrectly. No other mail
clients are affected. Entourage 2004 works fine. Outlook on Windows
works fine, and various Mac and Windows Web (OWA) clients such as
Explorer, Safari and Firefox render the quarantine messages fine, too.

Please advise me on the suggested resolution escalation path.

This appears to be a problem that was introduced with Office 2008 SP1
(12.1.0) and no fix has been released yet.

Microsoft is aware of the problem but you can still be sure to let
Microsoft know you'd like to see this feature fixed in future versions
by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any Office application.

The only workaround I can suggest is uninstalling Office 2008 and
installing it again up to version 12.0.1 (not applying the 12.1.0
update). I don't advise this.

You can also get the correct URLs by looking in the source of the E-mail
message. Do this by selecting or opening the message and selecting
Message menu --> Source. This may not be easy to read to find the URL
but you can search for "http" and quickly find it. And this will be
easier than removing and installing Office 2008 again.

Hope this helps!
