Entourage 2008 Won't Recognize 2004 Identity to Import

Backed up my 2004 Office Identity before erasing my hard drive. Reinstalled my OS and a fresh copy of Office 2008. During setup, 2008 would not recognize the 2004 Identity. Entourage database is there at 36MB but won't import. Any ideas?

That's very small. An empty database will be about 18MB. If you have a
lot of mail then most likely this isn't the correct database.

Do you have a full backup of your Documents folder that you can refer to?
