Entourage 2008 ??

Does anyone know if they are planning to increase exchange compatibility?
Like, syncing the notes and tasks, syncing the contact photos, etc...?
It would be nice if you could get all the info in your exchange account on
mac too?

There are some outlook features that would be nice if they put into
entourage, like 'new contact from same company'...


Also, with entourage and isync, are they going to make it so all fields
sync?
Like contact picture, also, I think there are some contact fields that
aren't syncing, maybe notes, secondary phones, etc...


Also, for people that have data on their local folder and also and exchange
account, what would be a possible way that they could sync both sets of info
with a mobile device but still keep them separate on their computer?
For example, if your personal info was on your local machine and your work
stuff was all in exchange but you wanted to have both on your mobile
device??

Not much has been released about new features for Entourage. We¹ll have to
wait until Microsoft releases the info. Here's the current press release.

Diane has already answered your question about "when", which is "we
don't know". But I do like to use past example from Microsoft as a guide
for what to expect. I go into some detail about how far Entourage as

Like you, I'd love to see Entourage 2008 support more Exchange features
such as synching Tasks and Notes and providing the ability to set Out of
Office.

I've never used this feature in Outlook but I'll look at it. Possibly an
AppleScript could accomplish this and more.

I'm not quite sure what you're after but first and foremost your mobile
device would have to be able to work with multiple accounts. Someone
more knowledgeable than I am may be able to answer this question.

If the local account is a POP account then you could use a BlackBerry which
supports Exchange Server and separate POP accounts.

Of course, if this is for an individual user then possibly not cost
effective.
