Entourage acting strange

Now I have a problem with Entourage. I posted an answer on this newsgoup to
some good advise by Clive Huggan, and Entourage put it in the outbox and
gave me a pop-up message saying it could not send it. This happened three
times. Now I see three posts on the site. My apologies. What is wrong with
Entourage?

The exact wording of the error message you saw will tell you what is wrong.

Check that you have an SMTP server defined for the News account

Check that all the newsgroups you were responding to are available on the
same news server.

These groups are hosted on msnews.microsoft.com

However, depending on the post you respond to, you may find other newsgroups
in the address line that may be hosted on the originating server, but are
not available on this one. Depending on which server you are connected to,
you will get an error message if the server you are pointing to does not
host one or more of the groups to which you are trying to post.
