My database is corrupted, somehow and I have lost all my emails. Even worse I
have lost my address book contact details. Can anyone tell me where Entourage
keeps the address book?
Entourage expects the Microsoft User Data folder to be in your Documents
folder. For OS X users, that's the Documents folder in your User's folder.
When Entourage opens in a new blank Identity, it's usually User error.
Most likely you have accidentally moved your data. Hopefully, you have not
deleted the file. If you have deleted the trash, it's gone. Sorry!
If you are sure your mail loss is a result of a corrupt database then you
can try rebuilding. All your data is stored in a database.
Make a duplicate in the Finder first as additional backup. A rebuild does
make a duplicate, but sometimes in the process the original and backup get
merged resulting in total disaster. It's rare but it happens.

I do recovery as a consultant if you are unable to rebuild yourself. I keep
a 500GB drive free for recovery. I need the copy of your database before you
rebuild for best results.
